My name is Sydney Shaw, and I’m a Licensed Aesthetician and the founder of Verve Acne and Skin Clinic. I specialize in treating acne and hyperpigmentation, but I’m also passionate and well versed in treating all skin concerns. I approach skincare with a nurturing, judgment-free philosophy rooted in service, education, and results—not trends.

I created Verve because I’ve lived through the emotional toll of struggling with my own skin. I know how overwhelming it can feel; not knowing what works, wasting money on guesswork, and losing confidence in the process. Verve is the clinic I wish I had back then: a space grounded in real answers, clinical care, and a supportive partnership that empowers you to take control of your skin health. 

I’m expert certified in ZO® Skin Health, SkinPen® microneedling, HydraFacial®, and more; I am also a Face Reality® Acne Expert. I only use clinically proven treatments and products, the kind backed by real data, because I believe in delivering results. When I recommend something to my clients, it’s because I know it works.

I also offer virtual consultations and online product recommendations so you can get support no matter where you are. 

I’m currently continuing my education in nursing to expand my scope of practice and become a full-service aesthetic provider.
